Once a tired and forgotten 1960’s shopping centre, Stanley Square is now a thriving town centre, mixed use scheme in the heart of Sale, Cheshire.

Starting in 2020 Altered Space have successfully regenerated the scheme on a phased basis  including the installation of 25 shop fronts and rightsizing of existing units to create modern retail spaces; refurbishment of a 220 space MSCP; delivery of 24k sq ft of modern office space; and a new build nursery providing space for 105 children. 

Completed in 2023 The ClassRooms is 10k sq ft of high quality, managed offices created from redundant 1st floor storage space, providing employment space for up to 100 people – the space above the shops!  

The introduction of regular markets, pop-up spaces and events as well as the creation of a vibrant new brand have all formed part of the curation of Stanley Square. All of this was achieved whilst maintaining a fully functioning scheme throughout.
